If you liked A Ghost Story, The Green Knight should be right up your ally. It's another very slow-burn from director David Lowery. It's also an A24 production so you just know all sorts of weird stuff is going to go down. Does this film do the medieval tale justice or does it completely miss the mark and end up being a joyless, somber story with no action or excitement? The Green Knight is chalk-full of symbolism, allegories and enough beautiful cinematography to at least win a nod come Oscar season.That doesn't necessarily add up to a good movie though. I give you my reaction to The Green Knight and would love to hear yours.
